The love of my life: Born in my house.
  Aug 13, 1989 - Oct 9, 2003
   Died of liver failure.

His death has left a terrible void in my life. The most of any of my children yet. He was more like a puppy than a cat. He was wonderful to me, but extremely mean to his sister who loved him unconditionally.

In September 2004 I went by a house who the people moved out and left their two cats and ten kittens to die. I took in all but two kittens I could'nt find. They were starving so bad the one adult did'nt even look pregnant. Five days later she had six tiger kittens. Anyway, I now have another 14 cats for a total of 19. (Lost Ted E. Bear - Down to 18 now) They are ALL fixed and INSIDE ONLY cats!
Update. Lost Marcus with no warning in the summer of 2010. 17 now.

Just this side of heaven is a place called Rainbow Bridge.
When an animal dies that has been especially close to someone here, that pet goes to Rainbow Bridge. There are meadows and hills for all of our special friends so they can run and play together. There is plenty of food, water and sunshine, and our friends are warm and comfortable.

All the animals who had been ill and old are restored to health and vigor. Those who were hurt or maimed are made whole and strong again, just as we remember them in our dreams of days and times gone by. The animals are happy and content, except for one small thing; they each miss someone very special to them, who had to be left behind.

They all run and play together, but the day comes when one suddenly stops and looks into the distance. His bright eyes are intent. His eager body quivers. Suddenly he begins to run from the group, flying over the green grass, his legs carrying him faster and faster.

You have been spotted, and when you and your special friend finally meet, you cling together in joyous reunion, never to be parted again. The happy kisses rain upon your face; your hands again caress the beloved head, and you look once more into the trusting eyes of your pet, so long gone from your life but never absent from your heart.

Then you cross Rainbow Bridge together....

I am grateful for my extended cat family. No shelter would help them and the only shelters who would have taken them in were kill shelters. It cost a small fortune to spay/neuter them. But all is done and they are happy and grateful for a home. It does cost allot to feed and buy litter. But what really hurts are the occasional veterinary costs. If anyone is in a genous mood and wishes to contribe to help with some pocket change towards the vet bills they can contribute at www.PAYPAL.com . My address there is: CatWhisperer@rochester.rr.com

Almost put him down on Sept 24th. He is losing the battle with Kidney Failure. I expect he will die any day now. At least we've had an extra 4 months together. He has always loved to "fetch" and "suck shirt". His nickname is "Boo Bery" as he loved playing peek a boo as a kitten.
Born in the Spring of 1996
Daniel lost his battle with kidney disease Jan 15, 2009. At 10:25 AM (Five hours before the plane went into the Hudson River) he peacefully died with me at his side stroking him and crying. I sure will miss his games of Fetch, Shirt Sucking and his constant "hand shaking". I miss you "Boo Berry".
Update Feb 2011 She now has Kidney Disease but refuses to take Ranger's Medicine.
